Antonino Di Pietro

Professor Antonino Di Pietro is Founder and Director of the Vita Cutis Dermoclinical Institute at Palazzo della Salute – Wellness Clinic. He is also Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Clinical Dermatological Nursing at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan and Adjunct Professor of Plastic Dermatology at the University of Pavia.

Today recognized as the founding father of Plastic Dermatology, he began his training at the University of Milan, where he graduated in 1982 and specialized in Dermatology and Venereology in 1985. From 1991 to 2017, he was Director of the Dermatology Service at Luigi Marchesi Hospital in Inzago. In academia, he served as Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Plastic Dermatology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata from 2005 to 2011 and of the Advanced Training Course in Plastic Dermatology at the University of Milan from 2000 to 2004. He is also Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal Journal of Plastic and Pathology Dermatology and Scientific Director of the monthly magazine Ok Salute e Benessere.

In 2007, he participated in the International Conference on New Progress in Biomedicine, The Future of Medical Science, as Secretary General within the Milano Check Up-Medical Science Expo.

Author of several book chapters and member of various scientific societies and associations, including the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Italian Hospital Dermatologists Association, and the Italian Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Professor Antonino Di Pietro is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Association for the Defense of Psoriasis Patients. A journalist registered with the Milan Order of Journalists since 1998 and a member of the Academy of the History of Healthcare Art in Rome since 1996, he is also Founding President of the International Society of Plastic-Regenerative and Oncologic Dermatology.
