Emanuele Bizzi

Dr. Emanuele Bizzi is an allergist and clinical immunologist at the General Medicine Unit of Policlinico San Marco. He also collaborates with the Centro Diagnostico Treviglio.

He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2001 from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where in 2005 he also specialized with honors in Allergology and Clinical Immunology. In 2002, he obtained a master's degree in musculoskeletal ultrasound for autoimmune and rheumatic diseases, and in 2004, a master's in capillaroscopy from the University of Ancona. In 2024, he was awarded the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor. As of June 1, 2025, he is also a Tenure Track Researcher at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.

Throughout his career, Dr. Bizzi has focused on rheumatology, allergology, clinical immunology, and internal medicine. He has gained extensive experience in managing osteoarthritis and arthritis, performing ultrasound-guided intra-articular injections (hip, knee, shoulder, ankle, interphalangeal, metacarpophalangeal), capillaroscopy, joint ultrasound exams, basic and advanced spirometry, alveolar-capillary diffusion of carbon monoxide for asthma evaluation and follow-up, and the management of biologic therapies for arthritis, asthma, vasculitis, dermatitis, urticaria, angioedema, hereditary angioedema, and autoinflammatory diseases such as idiopathic pericarditis.

He has authored over 80 publications in international scientific journals and, since 2023, serves as editor and contributor for various international scientific publications.

He regularly participates in national and international congresses as speaker, moderator, and tutor.

He is a member of the Italian Society of Rheumatology (SIR), FADOI (Federation of Hospital Internists), and SIAAIC (Italian Society of Allergology, Asthma, and Clinical Immunology).
