Gabriele Gritti

Dr. Gabriele Gritti is a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Sport Trauma & Research Center of Istituto Clinico San Siro, directed by Dr. Andrea Panzeri.

He obtained his Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2020 from the University of Insubria and completed his Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2026 at the same University.

During his training he gained extensive clinical and surgical experience by working in several hospital centers. At the hospitals of Angera and Cittiglio he further developed his expertise in elective surgery of the knee, hip, shoulder, and hand. At Busto Arsizio Hospital he acquired specific expertise in hip surgery, with particular reference to the SuperPATH approach. At Varese Hospital he further developed his experience in the management of trauma patients in a Trauma Center, dealing with major trauma and pelvic surgery.

During the last two years of his specialization, at the Sport Trauma & Research Center, he refined high-level capsuloligamentous knee surgery, working closely with elite professional athletes.

During the final year of his medical degree he also completed an international training period in Madrid, focusing on capsuloligamentous knee surgery and patient management according to international protocols and guidelines.

Dr. Gritti’s clinical activity is mainly focused on sports traumatology and includes:

• capsuloligamentous knee surgery
• hip and knee prosthetic surgery
• treatment of muscle injuries
• shoulder and knee injections and ultrasound-guided hip injections

He participates in national and international congresses in the field.
