Giorgio Candotti

Dr. Giorgio Candotti is a gynecologist at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele.

In 2015, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan and, in 2021, specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.

His main areas of interest concern gynecologic surgery, with particular attention to minimally invasive surgical techniques, gynecologic oncologic surgery, and the surgical treatment of benign diseases.

Dr. Candotti’s clinical activity includes:

• outpatient diagnostic evaluation of benign and oncologic gynecologic diseases;
• gynecologic and obstetric surgical activity;
• as well as on-call shifts in the delivery room and in the obstetric-gynecologic emergency department.

Dr. Candotti’s research activity is mainly focused on gynecologic oncology and gynecologic surgery.

He is member of scientific societies such as the MITO Group (Multicenter Italian Trials in Ovarian Cancer and Gynecological Malignancies) and ESGO (European Society of Gynaecological Oncology).

He has served as Principal Investigator in surgical trials and is author and co-author of more than 35 publications in national and international scientific journals, with an H-index of 13.
