Giulio Santi

Dr. Giulio Santi is an orthopedic surgeon at the Knee Surgery and Traumatology Unit of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2016 and subsequently completed his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the same university, both with highest honors.
During his residency, in 2020 he completed an international training period in the United States at the University of California – San Francisco, where he further developed expertise in hip and knee joint replacement surgery.
He currently works as an orthopedic surgeon at Galeazzi – Sant’Ambrogio Hospital within the Knee and Arthroscopic Surgery team directed by Prof. Walter Pascale.
His main surgical interests include knee and hip replacement surgery, arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder, and sports traumatology. He is particularly involved in innovative fields such as kinematic alignment in knee arthroplasty, robotic surgery, and minimally invasive techniques for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and meniscal repair.
He is actively involved in clinical research focused on knee prosthetic surgery and arthroscopic ligament reconstruction.
