Luca Carmignani

Prof. Luca Carmignani is the Head of the Urology Unit at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio, Full Professor, and urology specialist at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato and Casa di Cura La Madonnina.

With more than 12,000 surgical procedures personally performed, Prof. Carmignani treats all conditions related to the urinary system, focusing in particular on oncological surgery and benign prostatic hyperplasia, using cutting-edge techniques such as thulium laser endoscopic surgery and minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgery.

Author of more than 200 scientific publications, including 110 articles and 90 abstracts, he regularly participates as a speaker at national and international medical congresses. He is also Secretary of the Association of Urologists working in privately managed hospitals (UROP), as well as President of the Foundation of the Italian Society of Urology.

He also carries out academic teaching activities as Full Professor for the Degree Courses in Medicine and Surgery and for the School of Specialization in Urology at the University of Milan.
