Mario Alessandri Bonetti

Dr Mario Alessandri Bonetti is a plastic surgeon in the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Unit at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi Sant'Ambrogio in Milan and at Policlinico San Pietro, in the province of Bergamo.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery with honours from Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma in 2018. He subsequently specialised in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Milan, completing his specialisation pathway in centres of excellence and internationally relevant facilities, including IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio, Istituto Nazionale Tumori, Istituto Europeo di Oncologia, IEO, the Department of Plastic Surgery of the University of Pittsburgh, USA, and Ocean Clinic in Marbella, Spain.

Over the course of his experience, he has deepened his clinical and research expertise in European and American centres in:

• reconstructive surgery;
• facial aesthetic surgery;
• rhinoplasty;
• migraine surgery.

He obtained the national scientific qualification for the role of associate professor in the academic recruitment field 06/E2 – Plastic Surgery.

He is a member of the prestigious scientific societies EURAPS, European Association of Plastic Surgeons, and SICPRE, Italian Society of Plastic Surgery. He is the author of more than 100 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He is also a speaker at national and international congresses and is active in academic training and tutoring.
