Pierpaolo Prestianni

Dr. Pierpaolo Prestianni is a general surgeon and proctologist of the Coloproctological and Pelvic Floor Surgery Unit at Policlinico San Donato. He also collaborates with Casa di Cura La Madonnina, Istituto Clinico Villa Aprica and Smart Clinic.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2008 from the University of Milano-Bicocca, where in 2015 he specialized in General Surgery. During his training, he obtained the Master in Colon-Proctological Surgery at the Italian Society of Surgery in 2015.

His main areas of interest are pelvic floor disorders (hemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas and prolapses) and related dysfunctions (constipation, incontinence). He also worked for 5 years at the European Institute of Oncology, further deepening techniques of oncological surgery.

In addition to his professional activity, he participated in humanitarian missions for two years in Uganda and South Sudan.
