Dr. Silvia Ebalginelli is a specialist consultant at the Proctology and Pelviperineology Unit of Policlinico San Pietro.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2002 from the University of Padua and, in 2008, earned her specialization in General Surgery with honors from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
In 2022, she completed a Master's in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture at ALMA – Lombard Association of Acupuncturist Physicians.
Throughout her career, which has taken place across several hospitals in the Bergamo area, Dr. Ebalginelli has worked in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, operating rooms, and emergency departments.
Her areas of interest include the diagnosis and treatment of lower gastrointestinal disorders such as hemorrhoids, anal fissures, anal fistulas, and infections of the anal tract.
Dr. Ebalginelli is a member of SIUCP (Italian Society of Coloproctology) and AMAB (Bolognese Association of Acupuncturist Physicians).
She has taken part in numerous national and international events, also serving as a lecturer.
