Silvia Schembari

Dr. Silvia Schembari is a neurosurgeon and member of the GSpine4 Unit at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio, where she treats spinal disorders affecting all regions of the spine: cervical, thoracic, and lumbosacral.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan and, during her residency and post-residency training, gained experience in several centers of excellence, including Ospedale di Circolo di Varese, Ospedale Nuovo di Legnano, Spedali Civili di Brescia, and Spedali Riuniti di Livorno.
Her clinical activity focuses on spinal surgery, both degenerative and congenital/malformative conditions, including the treatment of cervical, thoracic, and lumbosacral disc herniations, degenerative disc disease, spinal canal stenosis, deformities, and scoliosis (both idiopathic and adult). She is actively involved in research in the field of spinal surgery, with particular attention to surgical innovation and the optimization of patient care pathways.
