Ludovica Bognoni

Dr. Ludovica Bognoni is a cardiologist and echocardiography specialist at the Cardiovascular Imaging Service of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele.

In 2020, she graduated with top marks and honors in Medicine and Surgery from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. During her studies, she completed training periods at King’s College London and at the Clinique des Grangettes in Geneva. She subsequently began her specialization in Cardiovascular Diseases at the same university, spending an extended period at the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR), University of Oxford.

Dr. Bognoni’s main area of expertise is advanced cardiovascular imaging, including transesophageal echocardiography with advanced three-dimensional reconstructions, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiography, and contrast (microbubble) echocardiography. She also performs cardiology consultations, exercise stress tests, and ECGs.
