Valeria Feder

Dr Valeria Feder is a podiatrist at the Podiatry Service of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio, headed by Dr Niccolò Le Donne. Alongside her clinical activity, she is an adjunct lecturer and tutor for students enrolled in the Podiatry degree programme at the University of Milan.
She graduated in Podiatry in 2021 from the University of Milan. In 2024, she obtained the Level I Master’s Degree “The Diabetic Foot” at E-Campus University, completing an internship focused on the management of diabetic patients, ulcerative lesions and the use of stem cells.
Since 2022, she has been an internship tutor at the Podiatry Service of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio, where she supervises students’ clinical activities, teaching assessment and treatment techniques and guiding them in podiatric procedures, biomechanical examinations and the production of foot orthoses. Since 2023, she has also held the role of Adjunct Professor at the University of Milan for the Podiatry degree programme, and since 2022 she has been supervisor and co-supervisor of numerous undergraduate theses within the same programme.
Dr Feder deals with:
- prevention, assessment and treatment of foot disorders, with particular attention to the diabetic patient;
- early identification of risk factors and skin, nail, biomechanical and sensory alterations, aimed at preventing complications;
- multidisciplinary management of patients, in collaboration with the various healthcare professionals of the hospital;
- university education and training of Podiatry students, with particular attention to the connection between theory and clinical practice.
