Biography

Dr. Jacopo Lanzone is a neurologist and neurophysiologist at the Epilepsy Center of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2015 from the University of Milan and completed his specialization in Neurology in 2020 at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. In 2024, he obtained a PhD in Neurosciences from University of Rome Tor Vergata.

He works at the Epilepsy Center of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, directed by Prof. Massimo Filippi, where he is involved in EEG reporting, emergency department on-call duties, and botulinum toxin injections.

His main areas of expertise are neurophysiology and epilepsy.

He is also a researcher at the Neurotech Hub of Ospedale San Raffaele, where he coordinates research projects on neuromodulation and EEG signal analysis.

Dr. Lanzone is an active member of the Italian League Against Epilepsy, where he coordinates the research task force of the Young Section. He has authored over 50 articles in international journals and has an H-index of 21.
