Biografía
Dr. Enrico Paolozzi is the Head of the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Service and the U.O. Intensive Care and Operating Room at Istituto Clinico Beato Matteo.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome, he specialized in Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the University of Siena, where he also obtained the PBLS Provider Certificate from the I.R.C. – M.U.P training center in Siena.
Throughout his training, he gained knowledge in:
- Management of on/off-pump myocardial revascularization interventions
- Valvular surgery
- Interventions for congenital heart diseases
- Postoperative management
- Basic TEE knowledge
- Use of CVVH (Continuous Venovenous Hemofiltration)
- PECCO2R (Partial Extracorporeal CO2 Removal)
- RVAD (Right Ventricular Assist Device)
- LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device)
- Management of postoperative bleeding
- Thromboelastography
- Platelet function analysis
- Use of therapeutic algorithms
He also shows a particular passion for intensive care activities, which he deepens through internships in European and non-European countries.
Throughout his career, he has worked at the Pain Physiology and Therapy outpatient clinic at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata,” Sant’Eugenio Hospital, Rome.
Currently, he is responsible for scheduling and managing operating rooms and activities in Intensive Care.
