Biografie
Dr. Cristiano Gentili has been a sports physician and department physician at the Rehabilitation and Functional Recovery Unit of the Istituto Clinico S. Anna in Brescia since 2001.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia in 1998.
In 2006, he specialized in Sports Medicine at the same university.
After obtaining his degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1998, he spent over two years as a research fellow at the Sacro Cuore Fatebenefratelli in Brescia, working in the Alzheimer's department.
In 2001, he began his career at the Istituto Clinico S. Anna in the rehabilitation department.
From 2002 to 2006, he attended the School of Specialization in Sports Medicine through an agreement between the Istituto Clinico S. Anna and the University of Brescia.
During his time at the Istituto Clinico S. Anna, he deepened his expertise in post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation and the treatment of musculoskeletal problems (acute and chronic pain).
Dr. Gentili conducts outpatient physiatrics consultations and has been treating patients with focused shockwave therapy for over 20 years.
During his two years as a research fellow at the Sacro Cuore Fatebenefratelli, he contributed to several publications on research and therapies for patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
