Biografie
Dr. Giuseppe Calabrò is a surgeon in the Proctology and Pelviperineology Unit at Policlinico San Pietro.
In 1988, he earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Florence. In 1993, he specialized in Digestive System Surgery and Surgical Digestive Endoscopy at the University of Milan.
Throughout his career, which has developed across various hospitals in Lombardy, he has been involved in outpatient care, diagnostics, and operating room activities, with a particular focus on proctology, the pathophysiology, and diagnostics of the digestive system.
His professional journey is complemented by several managerial roles:
- Medical Director of the Specialist Clinic of the Guardia di Finanza in Milan (1993–2001).
- Head of the Surgery Department at the Military Hospital of Milan (2001–2014).
- CEO, Medical Director, and Head of Proctology/Coordinator of the Colonproctology Unit at Euromedica Istituto Scientifico (since 2000).
- CEO and Medical Director of Euromedica Assistance (since 2013).
Dr. Calabrò's experience also includes participation in several humanitarian military operations in Albania and Kosovo.
He is the author and co-author of numerous national and international scientific publications.
