Dr. Alberto Giuffrida is an orthopedic surgeon in the CROM Unit (Reconstructive Surgery and Minimally Invasive Orthopedics) at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome in 2017 and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Humanitas University in Milan in 2023.
He focuses on hip and knee prosthetic surgery, as well as sports traumatology.
Dr. Giuffrida specializes in:
- Hip prosthesis with minimally invasive anterior technique without muscle cutting (AMIS)
- Knee prosthesis with patient-specific alignment techniques (kinematic alignment)
- Robotic surgery in knee prosthetics
- Cartilage regenerative medicine.
He has authored publications in national and international scientific journals and actively participates in national and international sector conferences.
