Leone Giordano 教授是 IRCCS San Raffaele 医院耳鼻喉科主任。同时，他还是米兰 Vita-Salute San Raffaele 大学副教授以及耳鼻喉科学专科医师培训学校主任。

他于 1995 年在帕维亚大学获得医学与外科学学位，成绩为 110/110。2000 年在都灵大学以优异成绩获得耳鼻喉科学专科医师资格。2011 年至 2012 年期间，他在米兰大学获得美容外科二级硕士学位。

他获得了国家科学资格认证，可担任大学正教授职务（学科领域 06/F3 – 耳鼻喉科学与听力学）。

在临床活动方面，他重点关注并具有丰富经验的领域包括：咽部和喉部的急性和慢性炎症性疾病（咽炎、扁桃体炎、腺样体炎、喉炎）；鼻部和鼻旁窦炎症性疾病（鼻炎、鼻窦炎、鼻息肉）；鼻中隔和鼻锥体的先天性或创伤后畸形导致的呼吸阻塞；唾液腺炎症（唾液腺炎及可能的结石表现）；耳鼻喉科相关的头颈部肿瘤疾病（喉部、唾液腺、甲状腺、口腔和咽部的良性及恶性肿瘤）。

他的主要兴趣集中在头颈部重大肿瘤外科手术以及利用局部皮瓣、带蒂皮瓣和显微外科技术进行血运重建的游离皮瓣重建手术，同时还从事神经损伤的重建。他已完成超过 6,000 例耳鼻喉科手术，并完成了大量血运重建游离皮瓣重建手术，在手术中作为第一术者完成血管显微吻合。

在科研方面，Giordano 教授重点研究多个领域，包括：接受头颈部重大肿瘤手术患者的生活质量，以及全喉切除术后通过发声假体进行语言功能康复。在头颈外科领域，他特别关注重建外科技术，例如推广锁骨上皮瓣——这种皮瓣在头颈外科中此前较少被了解和使用，并引入创新技术以改善功能和美学效果并减少并发症，例如使用吲哚菁绿术中血管造影实时评估组织灌注情况。

他是 95 篇发表在国内和国际索引期刊上的科学论文的作者或合作者（ORCID）。他的 H 指数为 18。
