Marco La Vecchia

Dr. Marco La Vecchia is a dermatologist at Smart Clinic. He also collaborates with IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.

He graduated in 2012 in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Palermo, where he then specialized in Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases in 2018. Both degrees were awarded with honors.

Throughout his career, he has worked in different complex dermatology units, including clinical dermatology, porphyria and rare diseases, oncological dermatology and prevention, as well as in the cutaneous pathophysiology laboratory.

His main areas of interest are dermoscopy, dermosurgery, cryotherapy, mycology, phototherapy, and allergic dermatology.

In 2012, he received the A.D.O.I. "Leopoldo Bartellotti" Award for the best scientific work published during the year in the journal *Esperienze Dermatologiche*. He has published numerous articles in national and international journals.
