Biography
Dr Alessandro Delcarro is a surgeon in the General, Oncological and Robotic Surgery Unit, the Abdominal Wall Surgery Centre, the Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery Centre and the Obesity Surgery Centre of Policlinico San Marco.
In 2018, he graduated with honours in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan, where in 2024 he specialised in General Surgery, also with honours. In the same year, he completed the ATLS course, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and obtained the National Diploma in Clinical Ultrasound.
During his specialisation, in 2022, he completed a one-year training experience in Belgium, enriching his international training.
In 2021, he completed the CUAMM, Collegio Universitario Aspiranti Medici Missionari, Junior Project Officer course, aimed at preparation for volunteer missions in Africa.
Dr Delcarro regularly participates in refresher courses to broaden his skills and improve his clinical practice.
He is the author and co-author of several scientific publications in international journals.
