Biography
Dr. Alessandro Lucia is a rheumatologist at the Rheumatology Unit of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio in Milan.
He graduated with honors in 2021 from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan and obtained his specialization in Rheumatology, also with honors, from the University of Milan in 2025. During his specialization, he gained experience at Luigi Sacco Hospital and Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio Hospital.
At Galeazzi Sant’Ambrogio Hospital, Dr. Lucia is a member of the multidisciplinary team dedicated to the management of patients with fibromyalgia and focuses his clinical activity on the management of:
- chronic pain
- inflammatory and degenerative joint diseases,
- as well as osteometabolic diseases such as osteoporosis.
To ensure timely diagnosis and effective monitoring of rheumatic diseases, he uses musculoskeletal ultrasound, having further developed his expertise through numerous national and international training courses.
He is the author of multiple scientific publications on fibromyalgia and microcrystalline arthritis and has participated in numerous national and international congresses.
