Biography
Dr. Andi Abeshi is an otolaryngologist at the Villa Erbosa and Casa di Cura Villa Chiara facilities in Bologna.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2016, Dr. Abeshi won a research grant for studying hereditary retinopathies at MAGI Onlus and the University of Milan, resulting in the publication of the largest national database of retinal genetic mutations. He then completed his specialization in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Pathology at the University of Bologna in 2022.
Dr. Abeshi practices both clinical and surgical activities, particularly in the areas of OSA syndrome (obstructive sleep apnea syndrome) and snoring surgery, functional surgery of the nose and paranasal sinuses, benign and malignant pathology of the head and neck, rhinitis and their cytological diagnosis, and the diagnosis and treatment of dysphagia.
He has conducted research in various fields of otolaryngology, with a particular focus on obstructive sleep apnea (OSAS) and its surgery, head and neck cancers, and identifying new tumor markers in the head and neck area.
He actively participates in national and international conferences in his field.
