Biography
Dr. Andrea Alfieri is an orthopedic surgeon at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from Sapienza University of Rome in 1986, he specialized in Orthopedics at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 1991.
Throughout his education and professional career, he has gained extensive experience in orthopedic surgery, holding clinical and leadership positions at major Italian hospitals. During his career, he also served as First-Level Healthcare Executive at S. Filippo Neri Hospital, where from 2003 he coordinated and directed the arthroscopic activity of the Orthopedics Unit.
His main areas of expertise include:
- hip replacement surgery;
- knee replacement surgery;
- shoulder replacement surgery;
- arthroscopic surgery;
- sports medicine.
He regularly participates in national and international scientific congresses.
