Biography
Dr. Fabio La Bionda is an orthopedic surgeon, specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology in the Hip 1 Department at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio.
He obtained his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Turin in 1995 and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Milan in 2000. During the last year of specialization and the following year, he carried out outpatient specialist activity in the Milan area, attending the G. Pini Orthopedic Institute.
In 2001, he was hired by the Galeazzi Orthopedic Institute of Milan, where he gained extensive experience in different orthopedic fields. He worked in the Traumatology Department until 2006; subsequently, from 2006 to 2010, he dedicated himself to foot surgery.
From 2010 to today, he has been part of the Hip 1 Department of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio, where he holds the role of Senior Assistant.
He mainly deals with orthopedic traumatology and:
- hip surgery, both for primary implants and revisions,
- knee surgery,
- foot surgery.
He also has experience in ultrasound-guided infiltrative therapy.
