Giada Piazzini

Dr Giada Piazzini is a dietitian in the General, Oncological and Robotic Surgery Unit and the Bariatric Surgery Centre at Policlinico San Marco.

She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from the University of Milan in 2019 with honours. She then continued her academic path, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the same university in 2021, once again graduating with full marks and honours.

Dr Piazzini deals with the dietary management of patients who are candidates for bariatric surgery, following them through the different stages of the pathway: from the preoperative phase to the hospital stay and through to postoperative follow-ups.

Her activity is aimed at ensuring personalised nutritional support, designed to optimise the success of the procedure and improve patients’ quality of life.
