Biography
Dr. Giorgia Marsili is a cardiologist at the Clinical Unit of Interventional Cardiology and Hemodynamics of IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, directed by Dr. Francesco Bedogni.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2018 from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and obtained her specialization in Cardiovascular Diseases in 2025 at the same university, graduating with top marks and honors.
During her training, she focused particularly on the use of cardiovascular imaging, with specific expertise in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography applied to the study of valvular and structural heart diseases.
At Policlinico San Donato, Dr. Marsili carries out clinical activity in both outpatient and inpatient settings, managing and following up the main cardiovascular diseases.
Her clinical activity is focused on general cardiology and cardiovascular imaging, with particular attention to the prevention, diagnosis, and management of the main cardiac diseases, including:
- arterial hypertension;
- heart failure;
- ischemic heart disease;
- valvular diseases;
- cardiomyopathies;
- arrhythmias;
- according to the most up-to-date international guidelines.
She regularly participates in national and international congresses, also as a speaker, and is author and co-author of scientific publications in the field of cardiovascular imaging and structural and ischemic heart diseases.
