Biography
Dr. Giovanni Palminteri is an orthopedic surgeon at the Joint Replacement and Orthopedic Surgery Unit (C.A.S.C.O.) of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi – Sant’Ambrogio in Milan.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2019 from the University of Trieste with top marks and completed his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2026 at the University of Milan, also with top marks.
During his training, he developed a path focused on reconstructive hip and knee surgery, enriched by international experiences in the United Kingdom: in 2025, he was a Visiting Fellow at UCLH (London) with a focus on hip surgery, and subsequently a Visiting Fellow at Guy’s & St Thomas’ (London) in a high-volume setting dedicated to hip and knee surgery.
His clinical activity is mainly focused on the diagnosis and treatment of degenerative hip and knee diseases, with particular interest in primary and revision joint replacement surgery, as well as outpatient activity and the management of orthopedic trauma.
He is the author of publications in international peer-reviewed journals, including contributions in the field of hip and knee arthroplasty.
