Biography
Dr. Ivan Raccagni is a physiotherapist and hand therapist at the Hand Surgery Unit of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio in Milan.
He began his university studies in Physiotherapy at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, graduating in November 2020. He subsequently furthered his education with a university Master’s degree in Hand Rehabilitation at the University of Milan, completed in 2022.
His clinical activity is focused on upper limb rehabilitation, with particular attention to the hand and wrist.
He treats patients in both post-surgical and conservative settings, managing:
- trauma;
- tendon and ligament injuries;
- nerve compression syndromes;
- carpal dysfunctions.
He is co-author of scientific publications dedicated to hand rehabilitation, including a study on the conservative treatment of triangular fibrocartilage injuries published in the Rivista Italiana di Chirurgia della Mano and an observational study on pre- and post-treatment management in flexor tendon tenolysis published in the Journal of Hand Therapy.
