Biography
Dr Lorenzo Rigatti is a urologist and andrologist in Urology Unit II at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele and IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele Turro, directed by Dr Franco Gaboardi.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Siena in 1998, where he specialised in Urology in 2003.
In 2009, he completed a period of advanced training at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, UK.
He deals with:
- benign and malignant prostate diseases, with particular interest in endoscopic laser surgery (HoLEP);
- malignant bladder and kidney diseases;
- urinary stone disease;
- benign bladder disorders and functional urology, with particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of male and female urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis, urinary tract infections and dysuria;
- botulinum toxin treatment;
- sacral neuromodulation;
- pelvic floor rehabilitation.
He has published several articles in indexed international scientific journals, including PubMed and Scopus.
