Luca Villa

Dr. Luca Villa is Associate Chief Urologist at the Urology Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, directed by Professor Francesco Montorsi, and Adjunct Professor at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2009 from the same university, where he completed his specialization in Urology in 2015.

In 2014, he completed a 13-month clinical-scientific fellowship at Tenon Hospital under the guidance of Professor Olivier Traxer, focusing on minimally invasive endoscopic techniques for the treatment of urinary stones and upper urinary tract tumors.

In 2015, he obtained the Advanced Clinical Training Certification in Endourology/Stone from the Endourological Society.

He carries out daily clinical and surgical activity, dealing with the most common urological conditions and with particular interest in the minimally invasive endoscopic treatment of kidney stones and upper urinary tract tumors. His research activity is focused on the development and application of new technologies in the field of endourology.

He is author of 77 scientific publications in national and international journals, with an H-index of 22, and regularly participates as speaker and moderator at national and international congresses in the field.
