Biography

Dr. Marco Toto Brocchi is a radiologist at the Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Unit of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio. He also collaborates with the Istituti Clinici Zucchi.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in 2018 and obtained his medical license in 2019. He completed his specialization in Radiology in 2025, carrying out part of his training at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in 2024 through an international scholarship program.

He performs diagnostic imaging activities in both outpatient and hospital settings, collaborating with several healthcare institutions. His clinical practice mainly focuses on musculoskeletal disorders, with particular attention to tendon, muscle, and joint injuries—both acute and chronic—in sports medicine and general clinical practice. He has also gained experience in abdominal and thoracic imaging.

He is the author of several scientific publications in musculoskeletal radiology and neuroradiology. He has participated in international studies focused on advanced imaging techniques, including quantitative ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging, for the assessment of muscular and neurodegenerative diseases.

Among his most recent contributions are studies on quantitative imaging methods, including ultrasound and diffusion MRI techniques, for evaluating muscle quality and structural alterations of the rotator cuff.
