Mariaelena Fasulo

Dr Mariaelena Fasulo is a specialist in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Casa di Cura La Madonnina in Milan, where she works in the operating theatre and at the Pain Medicine Centre.

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery in 2013 from the University of Milan-Bicocca, she specialised in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management at the University of Insubria in 2020. She also obtained a first-level Master’s degree in Forensic Medicine and Personal Injury.

In 2016 and 2017, she also completed two courses in medical hypnosis, respectively at the Centro Italiano Ipnosi Clinico-Sperimentale (CIICS) and Ipnomed: Accademia Italiana di Ipnosi Rapida.

After obtaining her specialisation diploma, Dr Fasulo gained extensive experience in the use of various pain management techniques, such as ozone therapy, following the guidelines of the Italian Federation of Ozone Therapy, mesotherapy, following the guidelines of the Italian Society of Mesotherapy, and regional analgesia through fascial plane blocks. Over the years, she has worked as an anaesthetist and intensive care specialist at Ospedale Sant’Anna in Como and as an emergency medicine physician at Ospedale di Circolo in Varese.

At the Pain Management Outpatient Clinic of Casa di Cura La Madonnina, Dr Fasulo focuses particularly on inflammatory, degenerative and post-traumatic musculoskeletal disorders and the prevention of recurrence. She participates in various advanced training courses on innovative pain-relief and postural techniques using nanotechnology, post-traumatic pain in athletes, and Regenerative and Anti-Ageing Therapy through infusions of vitamins, amino acids and trace elements.
