Biography

Dr. Paoletta Preatoni is Head of the Functional Unit of Clinical Gastroenterology within the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele directed by Professor Silvio Danese.

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1995, she specialized in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy in 1999 and, in 2009, in Internal Medicine at the same university.

From a clinical point of view, Dr. Preatoni deals with the management of diseases involving the gastro-enteric tract, with particular interest in celiac disease and related issues, malabsorption, and benign and malignant pancreatic diseases.

She is author and co-author of several publications in scientific journals of the field and book chapters. She constantly participates in national and international congresses in the sector.
