Biography
Dr. Rolando Brembilla is the Head of the Gynecology Unit at Policlinico San Pietro in Bergamo and collaborates with Smart Clinic.
He graduated from the University of Milan in 1975 and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1979, also at the University of Milan. His career began immediately after graduation, starting as a Department Assistant (until 1981), then as Assistant Head (1981-2004), and later as Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Unit at Policlinico San Pietro (2004-2014), where he continued as a consultant. Since December 2022, he has resumed the role of Head of the Unit.
Dr. Brembilla has participated in numerous international advanced training courses, including:
- Surgery Course at General Hospital of Orlando (1982)
- Assisted Reproduction Techniques Course at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc in Brussels (1990)
- Laparoscopic Surgery Course at Negrar Hospital
- Laparoscopic Surgery Course at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Clermont-Ferrand
His training also includes:
- Oncologic Surgery Course at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan
- Healthcare Management Course at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome (1998)
