Biography
Dr. Simone Catapano is a plastic surgeon at the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Unit of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio.
After graduating with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2018 from the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, he specialized with honors in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Milan. In 2023, he completed an intensive period of specialist training in Breast Surgery at the Reconstructive and Conservative Breast Surgery Unit of the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, a national reference center for breast oncology.
During his academic training, he further developed his surgical expertise through significant experiences at leading specialist centers abroad, mainly in Spain, where he completed an intensive fellowship in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in Madrid and at the University Hospital of Moncloa in Madrid.
He has also developed a specific interest in advanced facial surgery techniques, with particular focus on functional and aesthetic surgery of the nasal pyramid.

He is a member of the Italian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SICPRE). He is the author and co-author of several scientific publications in indexed international journals and actively participates in the national and international scientific community through lectures and professional development initiatives.
