Biography
Dr. Stefania Laura Calvisi is a rheumatologist at the Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Unit of Policlinico San Pietro.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2006 from the University of Cagliari and specialized in Rheumatology in 2011 at the same university.
After completing her degree, she continued her education with a master's in Internal Ultrasound and Extended-FAST Ultrasound from the Istituto Alta Formazione in Rome and a mini-master in Ecoscopy and Point of Care organized by the Italian Society of Internal Medicine.
Additionally, she obtained diplomas in Internal Ultrasound, Clinical Ultrasound, and Advanced Clinical Ultrasound, attended integrated imaging courses in musculoskeletal and tendon pathology, and participated in the SIUMB course in interventional ultrasound.
Dr. Calvisi is a member of several societies, including:
- Italian Society of Rheumatology (SIR)
- Federation of Italian Hospital Managers (FADOI)
- Italian Society of Internal Medicine (SIMI)
- Italian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (SIUMB)
- Italian Society of Vascular Diagnostics
She also serves on the board of directors of the Federation of Italian Hospital Managers and the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Study Group of the Italian Society of Rheumatology.
Dr. Calvisi has participated in numerous national continuing education courses and conferences, including as a speaker.
