Biography
Dr. Stefano Tentori is a nephrologist in the Regenerative Medicine and Transplant Unit, led by Professor Lorenzo Piemonti.
He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan in 2011 and later specialized in Nephrology, also with honors, in 2017.
Dr. Tentori manages a range of internal medicine and nephrology issues. He provides outpatient care for kidney, pancreas, and combined kidney-pancreas transplant patients. He is experienced in treating major nephrological conditions, including acute and chronic kidney failure, hypertension, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones, and polycystic kidney disease. He also manages primary emergency clinical conditions in the Emergency Department.
In research, he has focused on studying genetic polymorphisms related to hypertension, acute kidney failure, kidney transplantation, and bedside ultrasound in emergency settings.
He is the author and co-author of various publications and participates in national and international conferences in his field.
