Biography
Dr Umberto Falanga is a cardiologist in the Clinical Cardiology Unit at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan.
In 2017, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Marche Polytechnic University with full marks and honours, and then completed his specialisation in Cardiovascular Diseases in 2022 at the same university, also with full marks and honours.
He currently focuses mainly on cardiovascular prevention, ischaemic heart disease and heart failure. He also manages the Cardio-Oncology outpatient clinic dedicated to:
- patients with haematological malignancies;
- patients undergoing haematopoietic cell transplantation;
- patients undergoing CAR-T therapy;
- patients with solid tumours.
Dr Falanga has obtained certifications from the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) in heart failure and cardio-oncology and is co-author of several publications in international scientific journals.
