Biography
Dr Valentina Fazio is a psychiatrist at the Mood Disorders Centre of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele Turro.
In 2019, she graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Palermo and, in 2025, she specialised in Psychiatry at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.
During her specialist training, she immediately developed an interest in Mood Disorders, chronobiology and chronotherapies.
In her clinical practice, she continues to focus mainly on the diagnosis and integrated treatment of Mood Disorders, using both pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies.
Another field of research and study is the topic of stigma in the context of psychiatric disorders.
Within Ospedale San Raffaele Turro, Dr Fazio holds the role of Grade A Medical Assistant in the Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Mood Disorders ward, directed by Professor Cristina Colombo, carrying out clinical activities within the ward and private outpatient activity within the Affective Disorders group.
She is co-author of 8 scientific publications in prestigious national and international journals and has participated in numerous scientific conferences.
