Ugo Catrambone 医生是 IRCCS Policlinico San Donato 医院甲状腺和甲状旁腺外科单元负责人。同时，他还与 Smart Clinic 合作。
他于 1997 年在热那亚大学获得医学与外科学学位，毕业论文主题为甲状腺疾病的外科治疗。2003 年，他在同一大学获得普通外科专科医师资格。在此期间，他还在国外完成了两段培训经历，分别在美国波士顿哈佛医学院附属 Brigham and Women’s Hospital 医院以及瑞士苏黎世大学医院。
2011 年至 2012 年期间，他在比萨医院普通外科接受培训，并获得甲状腺和甲状旁腺外科二级大学硕士学位。
他的临床工作主要集中在甲状腺肿瘤、甲状腺功能性疾病（甲状腺功能亢进、Basedow 病、Plummer 病）以及多结节性甲状腺肿的治疗。他还治疗原发性甲状旁腺功能亢进以及甲状旁腺的良性和恶性肿瘤，包括采用微创手术技术进行治疗。
